November deadlines: 

11/01/09: Elks Most Valuable Student, good grades, leadership potential & financial need. www.elks.org

December deadlines:

12/31/09: NFIB Young Entreprenue Award. Academic achievement & a desire to start your own business. You do not have to have already started a business to qualify. www.nfib.com/yea  

 

 

January deadlines: 

01/08/10: Evelyn R. Horn Scholarship. Local scholarship open to EDHS students. Renewable for 4 years. Student must intend to continue education to obtain a bachelors degree. 01/11/10: Gates Millenium Scholars. Must be Hipsanic American, African American, American Indian/Alaska Native, or Asian Pacific Islander American, Have good grades & high financial need. www.gmsp.org

01/15/10: Democrats of El Dorado County Essay Contest. Open to Juniors & Seniors. 900-1200 words on "Discuss the positive and/or negative influences electronic media might have on providing citizens with reliable information about important issues." www.eldoradodemocrats.org
